Sure, the mamis of Calle Ocho may be the highlight of America's largest pachanga, but the bros are just as enticing.

And unlike the ladies who come out to the street bash just to shake their asses to some reggaeton, show off their pierced belly buttons, and eat arepas, most of the guys at the fest are on the prowl for Mrs. Right Now.

Just check out the bros you meet at Calle Ocho.

Crossfade: What do you think about Miami girls?

Juan: They're beautiful. There's lots of variety. You have Colombians, Cubans... there's a lot to choose from.

Is Calle Ocho a good place to pick up ladies?

Juan: Yes, if they come single and unaccompanied. Lots of girls come just to dance and have a good time.

What's your best pickup line?

Juan: It depends on whether we have chemistry or not. If I see a pretty girl, I'll ask her to dance.

Who do you think can pick up more girls, Pitbull or Daddy Yankee?

Juan: Pitbull.

Why?

Juan: Because he's Pitbull. [laughs].

What do you think about Miami girls?

Anthony: They're beautiful. It's the way they carry themselves.

Is Calle Ocho a good place to pick up ladies?

Anthony: Yeah, you have girls from all over the world. This is where it's at. It's better than match.com.

What's your best pickup line?

Anthony: I don't have any; they just come to me.

Who do you think can pick up more girls, Pitbull or Daddy Yankee?

Anthony: Pitbull, because he's more popular. It don't matter if Daddy Yankee look better.

What do you think about Miami girls?

Elio: They're all sexy and exotic. They have more flavor.

Is Calle Ocho a good place to pick up ladies?

Elio: Yeah, it's a social setting, and everybody is happy and showing off their county.

What's your best pickup line?

Elio: [laughs] I usually say, "That's a nice dress you're wearing."

Elio's friend: You don't buy them drinks, though. That doesn't really work.

Elio: Or I tell them they smell nice and ask what perfume they're wearing. That usually works.

Who do you think can pick up more girls, Pitbull or Daddy Yankee?

Elio: Daddy Yankee. He has that swag and doesn't even have to try. They come to him.

What do you think about Miami girls?

Louis (the one showing his back): They're all fake and pretend to be someone they're not. It feels like a cult.

Is Calle Ocho a good place to pick up ladies?

Louis: No, because you don't know their age.

Louis' friend: You can, but it's a big risk you take.

What's your best pickup line?

Louis: I usually just say, "How you doing?" It works 90 percent of the time.

What about the other 10 percent?

Louis: It's their loss. [laughs].

Who do you think can pick up more girls, Pitbull or Daddy Yankee?

Louis: Pitbull, 'cause it's Miami.

What do you think about Miami girls?

Lavi: They're FFLVI, forever fly lavish.

Is that like a new trend or something?

Jingo: Something like that.

J Mo: It means they're enticing.

Is Calle Ocho a good place to pick up ladies?

Lavi: Yeah, because of the atmosphere and energy.

Jingo: People are more open-minded.

What's your best pickup line?

J Mo: It's more about the girls and the chemistry they finesse into.

Lavi: You gotta feel the energy.

Who do you think can pick up more girls, Pitbull or Daddy Yankee?

Jingo: Daddy Yankee, 'cause he's suave, not swag. Suave is more about the energy, and swag is just a trend.
