Y'all watch the final episode of the The Franchise last night? Well, we're miserable, quite possibly the saddest sacks of sunflower seeds in Major League Baseball. But the Marlins' front office is confident that 2013 will be the year of the Fish.

Sure ... Until then, it's goose eggs, blowouts, and empty seats for the home team. Of course, the consolation for players and fans alike: America's playground is just a short drive from the Marlins Park.

So here are Crossfade's six best club parties on South Beach this weekend.




Bingo Players. Thursday, August 23, 11 p.m., LIV, 4441 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; 305-674-4680; livnightclub.com. Tickets cost $40 to $50 plus fees via wantickets.com. Ages 21 and up. Paul Baümer and Maarten Hoogstraten, the two Dutchmen behind Bingo Players, are going to make you dance until you "Cry (Just a Little)."



Shaun Reeves and Russ Yallop. Thursday, August 23, 11 p.m. Mansion, 1235 Washington Ave., Miami Beach; 305-695-8411; mansionmiami.com. Tickets cost $15 plus fees via wantickets.com. Detroit-born, Berlin-based Shaun Reeves brings warm beats and "spiritual" party music to Mansion.



A Night of Social Skills. Friday, August 24, 11 p.m., Treehouse, 323 23rd St., Miami Beach; 305-614-4478; treehousemiami.com. Ages 21 and up. Resident DJs earn top billing Friday night when the spotlight turns on Treehouse's in-house crew.



Cevin Fisher. Saturday, August 25, 11 p.m., Wall Lounge, 2201 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; 305-938-3131; wallmiami.com. Tickets cost $60 plus fees via wantickets.com. Ages 21 and up. Influenced by "life, love, and the challenge," Cevin Fisher has poured his heart and soul into electronic dance music since the early '90s.
