Six Best Club Parties on South Beach This Weekend

Sure, Avicci may be taking over the American Airlines Arena on Friday. But he's hardly the biggest DJ booked to play the 305 this weekend.

From electronic dance music veterans to up-and-coming collectives, a plethora of world-class DJs will hit the decks around South Beach over the next few days, dropping massive bass beats and bleepity-bloop-bloops at some of the country's finest nightclubs.

Check out Crossfade's picks of the best club parties on South Beach this weekend.

Calvin Harris. Thursday, June 7, 11 p.m., LIV, 4441 Collins Ave., Miami Beach. Visit livnightclub.com. He's a shit singer. That's why he gave it up a few years ago, and started focusing exclusively on DJing and producing. Now Calvin Harris is back at LIV and you certainly don't want to miss him.

Visionquest. Thursday, June 7, 11 p.m., Mansion, 1235 Washington Ave., Miami Beach. Visit mansionmiami.com. Don't confuse it for some strip mall optometry chain ... Visionquest is a DJ collective comprised of Seth Troxler, Ryan Crosson, Shaun Reeves, and Lee Curtiss straight out of Detroit, Michigan. They're taking over Mansion this week for a special six-hour extended set.

Link & Miami Rebels Present: Luca Bacchetti & J. Phlip. Friday, June 8, 11 p.m., Treehouse, 323 23rd St., Miami Beach. Visit treehousemiami.com. A true artist and master of his craft, Tuscan-born, Barcelona-based DJ Luca Bacchetti returns to the main room at Treehouse alongside Jessica Phillippe.

Club Life: Tiësto. Friday, June 8, 11 p.m., LIV, 4441 Collins Ave., Miami Beach. Visit livnightclub.com. At 43 years old, Tiësto is a true veteran of electronic dance music. He is one of the most recognizable names in the industry, a true professional. And he's also coming back to Miami ... Again.

KNR Restaurant Group Presents: Dennis Ferrer. Saturday, June 9, 11 p.m., Wall Lounge, 2201 Collins Ave., Miami Beach. Visit wallmiami.com. His artist profile on Facebook paints him as a lucky dude who was in the right place at the right time. But Dennis Ferrer also has the skills to back up his supersuccessful career as a DJ and producer.

Gui Boratto. Saturday, June 9, 1 p.m., Arkadia Pool, 4441 Collins Ave., Miami. Visit arkadiamiami.com. Rio Music Conference Miami takes over the Fontainebleau this weekend and Gui Boratto is just one many who'll provide the soundtrack.
