Radio Slave, otherwise known as Matt Edwards, toils among the techno proletarians of Berlin. He runs the Rekids label and makes hallucination-evoking, bass-burrowing dance-floor tunes that would never get played on the radio here. One prime example, "My Bleep," clocks in at nearly six and a half minutes of machinist bump and grind. When he doesn't have the obvious pop-hook appeal of his famous re-edits and remixes of Kylie, Britney, and others, his original tracks fill the gap with relentless groove-pumping.
