The booty clap is an artform.
It's no paltry shake or bounce. It takes real finesse and diligence. And no one has done more to promote the art of booty-clappin' than Diplo, AKA Wes Pentz.
OK, we're just kidding. That's the Twerk Team. But Mr. Pentz is aiming for a close second with his "Express Yourself" movement.

Spurred by the Mad Decent boss's infectious single, hundreds of followers have been inspired to immortalize their applauding asses on
Yet Diplo remains positively expressionless, and we here at Crossfade are asking you to help us change this sad fact. Let's get Diplo to #ExpressHimself at his LIV performance on Wednesday, October 3.
Mr. Pentz and his Mad Decent crew started the madness by announcing an #EXPRESSYOURSELF contest for the Internets.
Lady fans were encouraged to tweet pictures of themselves with their butts in the air, as per the EP's cover photo, in exchange for free Smoothie Wolf gear and a lifetime pass to all Diplo and Major Lazer events.
That's obviously a pretty dope prize, so hoes got ratchet and let it all hang out. The contest has been over for about two months. But still, the scandalous photos stream in.
Well, now the tables are turning, and we think Diplo should show us what he's working with. Surely, if his fans can show him such love, dedication, and balance, he can return it to them in kind.
And honestly, who doesn't want to see that sexy white-boy butt in the air?
So let's do it. Let's start a petition, get all our friends to sign, and demand Diplo #ExpressHimself.
We need to know if you really love us, Mr. Pentz. And if you really love us, you'll give up that ass.
Diplo. As part of Dirty Hairy. Wednesday, October 3. LIV, 4441 Collins Ave., Miami Beach. The show starts at 11 p.m. and tickets cost $30 to $40 plus fees via wantickets.com. Call 305-674-4680 or visit livnightclub.com.
