Now that Ultra's lineup has finally been unveiled, it's time to move on the what the local clubs will be putting on. There are certain things we are concerned about for this year's Winter Music Conference: Are there going to be enough people in town this year to support all the events that usually take place during the week? How will the nightclub industry handle the sudden economic downtown? We aren't sure everyone is going to come out winning this year during WMC, but we are just bracing ourselves and hope things are not as bad as we think they will be.
But on to some good news! The Opium Group, which owns Mansion, Set, Louis, Opium Gardens and Prive, has released its full WMC lineup. Notably absent this year are Opium Gardens and Prive, which according to kids over at Talk Nightlife, is undergoing renovations. Still, the OG's WMC events never fail to impress us and this year is no exception.
The highlights include Mansion's Tuesday night party with Benny Benassi, Calvin Harris, The Blood Beetroots and Sneaky Sound System; the Institubes party featuring Surkin and Para One at Louis; as well as the Undocumented Management party with Felix Cartal, L.A. Riots and Klever also at Louis.
