Though Nas claims to be "the rebirth of Langston Hughes," he's really more like William Blake with a little bling and a whole lot of beef. Nas quotes Old Testament scripture, ponders the meaning of the word ethereal, and threatens to turn 50 Cent into "blue fog." Too abstract to be an effective dis, the track is still a dazzling array of metaphor and melodrama. -- Sam Chennault
