North Miami and Houston join forces for the sake of a brand new mixtape that mixes the flavors of two distinct artists. On one hand there's Layce, a multifaceted rapper/producer/engineer and overall good businessman who's representing Miami. Then on the other, you have Chingo Bling, a very animated, marketing-savvy rapper repping Houston.

When these two joined up for a collaboratve mixtape project, it seemed that their opposite personalities were so different that it was crazy enough to work. The result is the 305 To 713 mixtape, the title coming, of course, from each rapper's area code.

The tape itself features more than 20 or so songs and a couple of skits. All boast a heavy southern influence, whether it's that "chopped-n-screwed" sound for which Houston is famous, or that "808 Bass" and/or "Runners"-type sound to which Miami lays claim. Also, being that both rappers are of Latin descent, you definitely have that Latino influence as well.

Everything's topped off with a couple appearances and guest features from Layce and Chingo's friends in the hip-hop world, like Benzino, Fabo of D4L, Money Mark, Gangsta Boo, Pitbull, Webbie, Paul Wall and Mike Jones. All in all, it's a different sound -- well, two different sounds combined into one, a taste of Miami mixed with the spice of Houston. Download the tape below.
