Everyone knows Swedes are gorgeous. They also make awesome meatballs. And when it comes to inexpensive, DIY furniture, IKEA has the entire house on lock. Of course, though, we gotta add awesome house producers to the list of Swedish shit we love. And this Saturday, Mansion will bring one of the Scandinavian country's finest exports, John Dahlbäck, to the decks.
Having signed his first record deal at age 15, Dahlbäck has been deep in the game for a decade. These days, he lives in jolly old London, managing his labels, Pickadoll and Mutants. But beyond being a record exec, this Swede describes himself as a "slave to the studio," spending most of his time making smooth and sexy electro, tech, and house tracks for fist-pumping fans everywhere.
At Mansion, he'll be joined by Grammy-nominated dance vocalist Nadia Ali, representing Queens, New York. She had her big break in 2001 with the hit single "Rapture" and later worked with big-time boys such as Armin van Buuren.
With those two at the helm, it's guaranteed to be an extremely steamy night of uhntz-uhntz.
