So we stumble across this image, courtesy of World Red Eye, of Mansion's current marquee declaring "PER NIK RICHIE & THEDIRTY.COM NO JERSEY SHORE ALLOWED AT MANSION MIAMI." Nik Richie and TheDirty.com is, according to the website, "the world's first reality blogger" -- whatever that fucking means. Richie writes on his site, "Why would I want to help a show on TV that promotes everything that is wrong with society. Get out of Miami losers and film in Jersey where you belong."
This is a different tune for the Opium Group from a few months ago when Michael "The Situation" Sorrentino and Jenni "JWoww" Farley hosted a party at the South Beach megaclub. We emailed spokesperson Vanessa Menkes for an official comment from the club. No word yet, but we'll let you know what they say.

Needless to say, if they are getting the cold shoulder from the Opium Group, who really never shies away from free publicity, then it's no surprise they are packing up their bags and leaving back to Seaside Heights.
Update: Menkes got back to us. She had this to say, "We were the first ones to have them in the market, they've since been done everywhere. I used to think Z. Cavariccis were cool too but wouldn't wear them anymore, you know what I'm saying?"
Now all we can think about is Menkes rockin' Z. Cavariccis.
