But we never expected that he'd come crawling out of the clown closet in full Juggalo regalia (Faygo-stained XXXL t-shirt, sweat-smeared facepaint, and bling-bling snatched from a box of Cap'n Crunch) to announce a wacko collabo with fellow Detroit white boys Insane Clown Posse.
And yet the day has come ... Jack has admitted to being a Juggalo, revealing that he's produced a new single by ICP's Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope, featuring little-known Mozart cannon "Lick Me in the Arse" b/w a cover of country tune "Mountain Girl."
Of course, there were warning signs ... Like White's insatiable thirst for Rock & Rye, Moon Mist, and Blue Raspberry soda. The black and white makeup stains on his top hat. And his admittedly odd habit of "get[ting] butt-naked ... walk[ing] through the streets/winking at the freaks/With a two-liter stuck in his butt-cheeks." But still, like most non-Juggalos, Crossfade was totally shocked outta our shorts by Wacky Jackie's coming out.
Officially, the news broke yesterday when a blog post titled "Jack White Produces Insane Clown Posse (and Mozart)" appeared on the official website for White's Third Man Records. "In the grand tradition of peanut butter meeting Iggy's chest or Bing Crosby getting down with David Bowie," the announcement said, "Third Man Records is ecstatic to present the latest in a long-line of unexpected musical pairings...Insane Clown Posse and Mozart."
How 'bout Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope? Well, those clowns are fucking stoked too. "[Jack] was really cool and, of course, we were really geeked," J told MTV earlier today. "We were like, 'Hell yeah, we'll do a song with Jack White. That's awesome.' And we were hella thankful, but at the same time, we knew he was going to catch a lot of shit for it."

The seven-inch vinyl version and iTunes download of "Arse"/"Girl" will be released by Third Man on September 13. And according to Wacky Jackie and his Juggalo army, special-edition slabs will also be up for grabs: "One-hundred Tri-color versions of the single will be available from the Third Man Rolling Record Store at the MI Fest in Brooklyn, Michigan on September 17th and another 50 Tri-colors will be randomly inserted into mail orders dispatched by Third Man Records."
No word on whether will these rare collector items will come covered with one-of-a-kind Faygo stains and filthy-ass facepaint fingerprints.
