Talk it up at the debut of Chit Chat on Tuesday, December 17, at Sticky Fingers (3399 Virginia St., Coconut Grove, 461-3313). The brand new restaurant/bar/club opened last week, injecting some new flavor into the we-are-presently-remodeling-and-will-be-done-by-the year-2000 Mayfair Shops. The joint is open seven days a week, serving up finger foods and mood music every night. This particular night, though, Sticky's offers two-for-one dinners and a bevy of drink specials early on; the naughtiness kicks in later when DJ Ivano Bellini spins the room into a frenzy. Later still, models and other assorted pretty people parade around for a too-cool fashion show. The same night, musical institution Hard Rock Cafe (401 Biscayne Blvd., Bayside Marketplace, 377-3110) hosts an extra-special version of its Hard Rock Live! music series. Reggae rockers Le Coup join forces with the Rock to host a birthday jam for Le Coup frontman Kevin. The place goes all island riddems for an irie good time. The concert is free and open to the public, with no need for party hats and presents -- this party is all about the music.

Thursday
Bermuda Bar, "Salsa Sensation." A ladies night ride where you can cha-cha-cha to your heart's content, with DJ Alex Gutierrez at the wheel. 3509 NE 163rd St., North Miami Beach, 945-0196.

Lulu's Restaurant, "The Loft." This Elvis emporium (fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches and all) goes dance crazy tonight through Saturday with DJ Joe K. dispensing fabulous tunes. 1053 Washington Ave., Miami Beach, 532-6147.

Club Tropigala, "The Magic of Music." Take a journey through time with a historic musical revue spanning the last seven decades. Available with or without dinner package tonight through Sunday. 4441 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, 672-7469.

Bottle Cap Inn, "Caribbean Night." Munch on traditional Haitian and Jamaican goodies and work off the food later with native Caribbean jams in a funky and fun-filled atmosphere -- the whole place is covered in bottle caps. 1293 NW 119th St., North Miami, 736-4731.

Eleven/Eleven Bar, "Funk Thang." Phat and funky R&B and hip-hop tunes take center stage with the fashion-conscious crowd in a cozy and comfy indoor/outdoor lounge. 1111 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, 534-2442.

Ready Bar, "It's All Good." Ambassador of good will Ray Rodriguez kicks off the weekend with a jumpin' and thumpin' night of fun and frolic; DJ Chilly scatters nasty little tunes around the room. 560 Washington Ave., Miami Beach, 534-8847.

Porcio. Make a reservation to mix and mingle -- and even eat, if you like -- in the restaurant's lounge as DJ Roberto Costa makes it hot with soul-stirring grooves. 801 S. Bayshore Dr., 373-2777.
