Come the second Saturday of every month, European tourists with Nikons hanging around their necks, local hipsters, art aficionados, booze seekers scouting free drinks, and just about everyone else flocks to Wynwood for Art Walk.

And while the true purpose of this monthly event is allowing galleries to enjoy a mass audience and snag a few sales, the reality is that culture lovers are also hunting for some liquor! So here are five ways to get drunk at Art Walk.

Warning: Once inebriated, you may not need much convincing to buy that ridiculously expensive painting of a sunflower wearing shades.

BYOB

This guy was as hardcore as they come. While standing on the street corner and watching a theatrical reenactment of what appeared to be a Jason Voorhees lynching, he took a swig of Captain Morgan, straight outta the bottle.

"Bring your own booze," he said, describing his method for getting plastered during Art Walk.

You can't go wrong with the Captain.

Free Booze

Many galleries in Wynwood are not too fond of all the fun-loving drinkers who show up for Art Walk. But how can we resist the free spirits and beer?

Nicole Seigel, Natalia Torres, and Alli Howle were browsing through some art at Gallery 212 and sipping on beer that they'd grabbed from a gallery down the road.

"The free drinks," Howle said was the best way to get drunk.

Free just makes everything better.

Street Vendors

V was checking out the cartoon-y paintings at Yo Heart 305.

"You can bring your own booze," she said.

"But there's also those guys on the street that sell cheap beer."

Drink Up Before the Art

Victor Vanjobi, Larry Rivas, and Thomas Ortiz were walking down NW Second Avenue.

"What I like about Art Walk is that you get to meet the owners," Rivas said."We got offered a free drink from the owner at one of the galleries."

"But I guess you can also bring your own or pregame," Ortiz interrupted.

Drink Specials

While many galleries in the area may have a love/hate relationship with Art Walk, the rest of the businesses thrive off drunkies.

If you make it out to Wynwood early enough, you can get buzzed at half the price from 5 to 8 p.m. at Wood Tavern.

And if bars are more of your thing than galleries, you can have your own Art Walk pub crawl and hit up Gramps, Shots, Cafeina, and the rest of Wynwood's watering holes.

Let the drunken shenanigans begin.
