Memorial Day weekend is among us ...

For us 305 peeps, that means we're either gonna run for our lives and avoid SoBe at all costs, or start our summer vacay early with Kid Ink, Sunghosts, Beenie Man, and the rest of the artists putting on kick ass shows for us. And judging from our relentless party rep, we'd bet on the latter.

Here are the five best concerts going down in Miami this week.

Kid Ink's My Own Lane 2014 U.S. Tour. With King Los and Bizzy Crook. Tuesday, May 20, 9 p.m. Grand Central, 697 N. Miami Ave., Miami; 305-377-2277; grandcentralmiami.com. Tickets cost $20 plus fees via ticketmaster.com. LA rapper Kid Ink's getting revved up and ready to tear up the stage at Grand Central for his My Own Lane tour. That's why he's rollin' "high up with [his] top down, doin' 85 on the top deck" till "it's go time."

In With the New. With music by the Plastic Pinks, Sunghosts, Kazoots, the Bearings, and Golden Arrows. Wednesday, May 21, 9 p.m. Churchill's Pub, 5501 NE 2nd Ave., Miami; 305-757-1807; churchillspub.com. With Dave Daniels no longer owner of Churchill's, it's "the dawn of a new age" for the pub. Keep the rock legacy alive with the Plastic Pinks, Sunghosts, Kazoots, the Bearings, and Golden Arrows as they help write the new chapter of our beloved Churchill's.

Kill the Zo. A collaborative project from Kill the Noise and Mat Zo. With Wuki and Sluggers. Presented by Poplife. Friday, May 23, 11 p.m. Grand Central, 697 N. Miami Ave., Miami; 305-377-2277; grandcentralmiami.com. Tickets cost $30 to $35 plus fees via ticketfly.com. Ages 18 and up. "It's more about the vibe of the show than anything else," KTN's Jake Stanczak told Crossfade about his collab with Mat Zo. "The people go in there expecting it to be something different." That being said, we don't know what will go down this Friday at Grand Central, but all we can say is expect to be surprised as "bass monster Kill the Noise and melodic house kid Mat Zo" take you on an EDM trip.

Best of the Best 2014. With Bunji Garlin, Beres Hammond, Barrington Levy, Cocoa Tea, Beenie Man, Tarrus Riley, Chronixx, and others. Sunday, May 25, 2 p.m. Bayfront Park, 301 Biscayne Blvd., Miami. Tickets cost $47 to $139 plus fees via bestofthebestconcert.com. It's the eve of Memorial Day, so pon di road and get jammin' with Bunji Garlin, Beres Hammond, Bennie Man, and the rest of the Best of the Best reggae, dancehall, and soca masters at Bayfront Park.
