Five Best Concerts in Miami This Week
See Miley Cyrus twerk on something at the AAA.
It may be St. Paddy's Day, but no four-leaf clover or pot of gold that you happen to find today will make Monday disappear.
Good thing the luck of the Irish is favoring the Magic City and bringing in some pretty good shows, starting tonight -- from up-and-coming rap genius Schoolboy Q to America's worst twerker, Miley Cyrus.
Here are Crossfade's five best concerts to check out this week.

Schoolboy Q. Oxymoron World Tour with Isaiah Rashad and Vince Staples. Monday, March 17, 6 p.m., Mekka Nightclub, 950 NE 2nd Ave., Miami; 305-371-3773; mekkamiami.com. Tickets cost $35 plus fees via ticketweb.com. "It's a party over here." So when LA rapper Schoolboy Q, AKA the "Man of the Year," walks into Mekka, he's gonna "see girls everywhere" throwing their "titty, ass, [and] hands in the air."
2 Chainz. 2 Good to be T.R.U. with Pusha T and August Alsina. Tuesday, March 18, 8 p.m., The Fillmore Miami Beach, 1700 Washington Ave., Miami Beach; 305-673-7300; fillmoremb.com. Tickets cost $45-$59.50 plus fees via livenation.com. 2 Chainz once "had a dream that rap wouldn't work," but now he's got "so much money on [him], it won't even fold." Guess some things aren't 2 Good to be T.R.U. after all.
Action Bronson. Thursday, March 20, 8 p.m., Grand Central, 697 North Miami Ave., Miami; 305-377-2277; grandcentralmiami.com. Tickets cost $20-$25 plus fees via ticketfly.com. The last time Action Bronson was in the 305, the "hip-hop culinary hero" fessed to Crossfade that he's "just a dancer" with "pizzaz," and would wear a thong "for [his] bitch on Valentine's Day only." He was also "stoned as shit." We can't wait to see what Action will bring to the Magic City this time around.
Yo La Tengo. As part of Sam Green's The Love Song of R. Buckminster Fuller live documentary. Saturday, March 22, 6:30 and 9:30 p.m., Colony Theatre, 1040 Lincoln Rd., Miami Beach; 305-674-1040; colonytheatremiamibeach.com. Tickets cost $30 plus fees via mdclivearts.org. Be a part of history and watch indie rock crew Yo La Tengo perform the score for the live documentary of Sam Green's The Love Song of R. Buckminster Fuller.
Miley Cyrus. Bangerz Tour with Icona Pop. Saturday, March 22, 7:30 p.m., American Airlines Arena, 601 Biscayne Blvd., Miami; 786-777-1000; aaarena.com. Tickets cost $19.50-$89.50 plus fees via ticketmaster.com. What will Miley Cyrus twerk on at the AAA? A life-sized rabbit? A background dancer? A "Wrecking Ball"? Who knows? All we know is that the "over-the-top ratchet white-girl party princess" is definitely gonna put on a show for her fellow Bangerz.
