Madonna's awfully public exploration of post-menopausal sexuality and her apparent midlife crisis have Elton John flaming mad.

"She's such a nightmare," John recently said in an interview with Australia's Molly Medrum. "She looks like a fucking fairground stripper."

According to the Huffington Post, John's publicity team quickly redacted the comments, claiming the conversation with Medrum was supposed to be off the record.

Nevertheless, the interview aired on Sunday night, and likening Madonna to a stripper was only half of what the "Rocket Man" had to say about the "Material Girl."

"Why is she such a nightmare?" Elton asked. "Her career is over, I can tell you that. Her tour has been a disaster and it couldn't happen to a bigger cunt."

John also added that Madonna's "been horrible to Gaga."

Earlier this year, the 65-year-old entertainer took umbrage at comments Madonna made about his son's godmother, Lady Gaga. Madge dismissed Gaga's music as "reductive" in an interview with ABC.

"If Madonna had any common sense, she would have made a record like Ray of Light," he said, "stayed away from the dance stuff, and just been a great pop singer and made great pop records, which she does brilliantly."

Madonna has yet to comment.
