What began as a fairly modest after-hours bash at downtown Miami's former Studio A space in 2006 has evolved into the WMC event par excellence. We're talking about Crosstown Rebels' Get Lost. Now in its seventh installment, this party has pretty much come to epitomize the WMC experience for many locals and international visitors.
Since the Electric Pickle began hosting the party three years ago, it has also brought iconic status to the Wynwood EDM mecca. People are still raving about last year's energetic performances by Maceo Plex and Art Department on the Pickle's sunny patio. You could even say this party has gotten so big it's coming close to bursting at the seams.
With every new edition, Get Lost's lineups have grown exponentially, and the party now features more than two dozen international house and techno stars. "Actually, we had to consider moving this year simply to be able to handle the amount of people that now want to come," Crosstown Rebels label head Damian Lazarus says. "But the truth is that for now, the Pickle feels like home, and every year we extend the size of the terrace to cater to our lovely people.

"I think I was the first person to see the potential of the venue back when it was Circa 28, and we moved the party there from Studio A after that [club] closed," Lazarus adds. "Since becoming the Electric Pickle, [it's] become one of the best-loved clubs in the U.S., and the environment there is finely tuned for our sound. Plus I love the intimacy of the place."
