Clearing Up the Blazed and Confusion: Yes, Mickey Avalon and Snoop Dogg Are Still Performing in South Florida on August 1
Gutter-glam rapper Mickey Avalon plays Set
The Miami date of the Blazed and Confused Tour, originally scheduled August 1, was officially canceled a few days ago, but there was a lot of confusion in the aftermath. (This previous Crossfade post about it definitely devolved into a mess of strike-throughs.)
So here's the scoop, straight from the artist's managers.
The Blazed and Confused tour date slated for August 1 was, technically, moved up to Hard Rock Live in Orlando. Tickets sold for the Miami date will still be honored there. But it's not the full lineup -- from among the major billed headliners, only Stephen Marley and Slightly Stoopid will perform.

Mickey's is that night at Set, in South Beach. According to his MySpace he's scheduled to perform at 1:30 a.m. However, there are no advance tickets listed for sale on Wantickets or any of the usual sites, and Set is a glitzy SoBe joint... So if you want to catch him here, prepare for the typical (expensive) night out at one of these places, and consider the performance an added bonus.
Snoop Dogg, meanwhile, will perform a more formal show at Opium in the Hard Rock that night. Doors open at 11 p.m., and tickets, which cost $25 in advance, are already on sale through Ticketmaster and Wantickets.
