Everyone knows you can't trust a rumor. Or a Reflektor.

Last month, though, while still tingling from Arcade Fire's two-night stand in Miami (and wooed by Win Butler's breathless promises of "be back soon"), we here at Crossfade allowed ourselves to be seduced by Internet siren calls, originating from "Arcade Fire news and tour info" feed, @ArcadeFiretube.

So when the "fan Twitter account" teased, "MIAMI/FLORIDA! Arcade Fire reportedly coming back in April for two nights at Bayfront Park," we rejoiced.

But now Arcade Fire's finally announced the Reflektor Tour 2014. And it skips Miami.

UPDATE Win, Regine, and the rest of the crew have just revealed another round of dates. And yes, Miami's been skipped again.

To be fair, the whispers only said that Win, Régine, and the rest of the crew would be returning to Miami for two more nights in April 2014. And that's still possible.

Because, currently, Arcade Fire has only announced six April dates, which leaves another 24 nights that they could spend in the MIA.

Naturally, we bothered the band's press rep, who simply responded: "For now -- this is what we have!"

So yes, we're still holding out hope.
