Afrobeta Announces a Halloween Party with Holy Ghost! and Depressed Buttons

We've been showing Afrobeta some love lately, naming them as "Best Band," tracking down their latest releases, and even following them around their home studio recently, and with good reason.
The duo have been combining synths, heavy basslines, and catchy, often Miami-themed bilingual lyrics that makes us just want to head-bop for quite some time now, but we can't help but worry that they'll be leaving our fair city in search of greener pastures soon.
They have a lot of stuff going on in the coming months, and between releasing their EP recently, plans for a full-length in the spring, and news that they're playing the main stage at Ultra Brazil in early November, we're not really sure how they'll make time for their hometown fans; but they are.
We've just heard word that Afrobeta is teaming up with Brooklynites Holy Ghost! and Nebraska natives Depressed Buttons (which features members of the Faint) for an all-out Halloween blowout, to take place at the Electric Pickle on Saturday, October 30.
The party will also feature DJ sets from Bill Kelly, Dennis Sebayan, Hottpants, Tomas (of Aquabotty) and William Renaurt (Get Some). We're guessing everyone will be in costume, too, making for some pretty interesting visuals. But will Afrobeta go dressed up like they're "playing house"?
Tickets will cost $15 for the shindig, and can be purchased in advance via wanttickets.com.
