AAA and Bud Light "Giving Free Rides to Intoxicated Halloween Revelers" in Florida
If you're part of the "sluts and children" demographic that'll be trick-or-treating tomorrow night for body shots and Molly at any one of the ten best Halloween parties in Miami, please call AAA and Bud Light for a ride home.
Co-sponsored by the American Automobile Association and Anheuser-Busch, the Auto Club Group, AAA's second-largest North America club, has provided free wrecker services for would-be drunk drivers under the Tow to Go program since 1998.
The joint effort has helped keep more than 20,000 intoxicated individuals off the road, and should you have too much to drink on Halloween, an AAA wrecker will selflessly drag your lush ass back home too.
"This program is invaluable because it brings attention to the dangers of drinking and driving beyond just giving an intoxicated driver a safe ride home," Gerry Gutowski, Sr. Vice President for the Auto Club Group, said in a statement.
While Tow to Go is meant to serve a "last resort" and not a professional designated driver service, AAA members and non-members alike are eligible to receive a complimentary tow to a "safe location" within a 10-mile radius several times throughout the year, especially debaucherous holidays like Halloween, New Year's Eve, Cinco de Mayo, etc.
"The Tow to Go program is a simple and effective way to help prevent drunk driving," Anheuser-Busch's vice president of Social Responsibility Kathy Casso said in a statement. "We are proud to join forces with AAA and their team of roadside assistance service vehicle drivers on this great program that helps to keep our roads safe."
Tow to Go is available in Florida from Wednesday, October 31, through Saturday, November 3. Call 855-2-TOW-2-GO or 855-286-9246.
