Lil Wayne is currently behind bars, but still he's managing to pull off the release of about four videos within the span of this weekend via MTV. Two of them feature local group Mayday playing backup for Weezy.

The first video is for the Cool & Dre-produced "Da Da Da," which was released today. The second video is for "Get A Life." Both videos were shot on the rooftop of the Marlin Hotel on South Beach. Lil Wayne even wears an official Mayday T-shirt during "Get A Life." It's definitely a great thing to see one of Miami's hardest working groups working with one of the biggest hip-hop artists out. Rich Kid Sound System is a new group coming out of South Florida that debuted its first song last week online. Rich Kid Sound System is a mesh of rock, hip-hop, and a couple of other sub-genres all wrapped into one tight package. Helming the group is Q, who used to be in local hip-hop group DorksMoronsGeeks, on vocals and bass. Also on the vocals, as well as on the guitar and synths, is Leo, who has history doing co-production work with dancehall producer Tony "CD" Kelly. Lastly there's Danny on the drums and percussion. Their new song is called "A Little Bit Of Time," and it's a selection from their upcoming EP which is due out later this year. [The305]

The very talented QuESt has been preparing to release his new album, The Reason, and has been teasing the Internet with a couple mixtapes over the past year. The first single off the album is called "We're Going Down," and will be released on various hip-hop blogs and web sites this upcoming Tuesday, June 1. Stay tuned, and click here to download his How Thoughtful? mixtape that we reviewed a few months back. [Twitter]

Miramar-based Murph took a little trip to New York City not too long ago and while he was there, he recruited director Dre to put together a video for his own freestyle over the "Ha Ha" beat. The clip is very grungy and very New York-ish, a different type of video from what we're used to seeing from Dre Films. Expect a lot more videos and songs from Murph in the coming months, and expect a lot more Dre Films as well. [Vimeo]

Finally, after landing a spot on the Flo Rida and Lil Wayne "Fresh I Stay" opus, Jovi Rockwell released a new video this week for her song "Over Bucktown (Keep It Real)." Jovi did the video in association with sportswear clothing giant Puma. The clip was shot in California and if you've ever met Jovi, you'd see that the video is very fitting with her chosen "Rebel Love Goddess" moniker. Watch it here. [2DopeBoyz]
