Wish Restaurant

801 Collins Ave
Miami Beach, FL 33139

Website
Dining on Wish’s canopied garden patio is so idyllic it summons to mind a Renoir picnic. A mosaic fountain with flickering lights centers the space, which is also illuminated by string lights laced through foliage, twinkling candles, and blinking electric ice cubes in the cocktails. Though chefs and menu items have changed through the years, the fare remains contemporary American with Mediterranean and Asian influences. The latest top toque is Marco Ferraro, whose clean, fresh style is best exemplified in a starter of lobster ravioli. Another knock-your-socks-off moment is a buttery, snow-white cauliflower purée beside a lightly grilled swordfish steak that was small in circumference but nearly two inches thick. The Inside Word on Wish Restaurant

I've eaten here a few times. While the pricing is what you'd expect for a South Beach location, the food was beyond delicious. Service wasn't too shabby either, I'm not going to go out on a limb and praise their service because I've only had a few waiters here but those that I've had have been attentive and seemed genuinely interested in whether or not you enjoy the dish. Only problem I had is some old people that were toungue wrestling in a small dimly lit corner which was not very appealing to watch, and the waiters kind of laughed it off. Not a big deal except for the fact that they were like grandparent-old.
