Town Kitchen and Bar

7310 SW 57th Ct #100
South Miami, FL 33143
305-740-8118
Website
The contemporary American menu is pop music for the palate, a crowd-pleasing, easy-to-gum-along-to medley of pizzas, pastas, salads, sandwiches, mussel pots, a few seafoods, and many steaks -- specifically grain-fed Angus beef from “Stockyard’s Packing” in Chicago. Meats are sliced in-house, massaged with a “wet rub” of seasonings, and broiled at 1400 degrees. And they are good. A rare, twelve-ounce Delmonico rib eye, one of seven cuts served à la carte, flashed a crisp, caramelized crust and boasted beefy beef flavor. Steak/frites showcases a solid New York strip with homemade fries and provides a fulsome meal for $26. A moistly roasted half-chicken with garlic mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables goes for just $19. Half-portions of either caesar or house salad are available for $5, which, for those who are abacus-less, amounts to a salad and chicken dinner for $19. Papery-thin-crust pizzas and various ethnic takes on mussel pots are crowd pleasers too, but fresh food and fair prices aren’t the only draw here. The waitstaff is one of the youngest and best teams in town, the 165-seat room is urban-industrial chic, and the restaurant is abuzz with an ebullient crowd of South Miami residents grateful for finally having a South Beach-style dining scene in their own back yard.

What you need to be drinking, any Martini. What to eat, start of with the fried calamari, I would go with the pizza or any salad. Best sides, mac and cheese!

Love It! Its Right Next To Sunset Place Its got this Winery feel to it in which they also have a great selection of. The pizza is really good although if you compared to pizza rustica its alright... the best part are the fries selection because they have 4 types! Which is great because i love sweet potato fries and thats one of them besides reg, cheese and town fries. Try the Fried Calamari as an appetizer and enjoy the rest of your evening!
