There are quite a few things Argentina is known for. OK, maybe just parrillada and quite possibly Soda Stereo. The former, though, is what gets Miamians all excited and drooling. The Knife is a meat-and-salad-bar chow fest. One section houses the grill, where a few guys cook ribs, chops, fish, chicken, and practically every cut of steak you can imagine right before your eyes. Then there is the salad bar, with hard-boiled eggs, cheese, cold cuts, potato salad, bread, olives, and a whole lotta other salad stuff. Sounds great, no? Unfortunately, the idea was better than the execution. The meat doesn't have any flavor other than that of the grill, and when the salad bar beats the meat at a steak house, you know something has gone horribly wrong. Lunch ($16.95) includes a free glass of wine. From 4 to 6 p.m., you can have the early-bird dinner ($20.95), which comes with a bottle of wine and dessert. After 6 p.m., for dinner ($26.75), you can choose a carafe of sangria in place of the wine, but nothing will get the taste of charcoal out of your mouth.
