Smith & Wollensky

1 Washington Ave. Miami Beach, FL 33139 | South Beach | 305-673-2800

Location Description:

Smith & Wollensky defines steak-house chic. Since 1997, the southernmost restaurant in Miami Beach has offered an oak-and-marble interior, celebrity dining clientele, and a prodigious wine selection. Located in South Pointe Park, and beautiful even before its $22 million makeover, the place boasts a steady flow of pedestrian traffic and unparalleled energy and ambiance. This is not tense, stiff-necked fine dining; you can relax, people-watch, and enjoy your meal. Massive cruise ships and sea-bound freighters float past as you are treated to attentive two-waiter service. The meal begins with lightly oiled and seasoned dinner rolls with butter. Follow with a salad topped in fresh, thick dressing, and then revel in the spiritual experience that is velvety-smooth, delicious New York-style sirloin. Waterfront dining, a breezy outdoor bar, world-renowned dry-aged beef cured and butchered in-house, a cigar humidor, food made from scratch daily - this is the steak house against which all others should be measured.
