Location Description:

This welcome addition to Miami's slim roster of German restaurants is a small place, but it serves up anything diners need: 10 imported beers (four on tap), substantial but not (generally) overly heavy food, over-the-top décor that makes it seem like Christmas year-round, and the kind of warm, personal welcome that truly defines the difference between a great neighborhood restaurant experience and just another bite out. Not surprising given the place's name, schnitzels are especially good here; the disks of tender meat, pounded thin and almost delicate, are available in not only many varieties but also the diner's choice of pork, chicken, or veal. Entrées come with veggies and starches, so no sides are necessary. Still, don't skip the potato pancakes, possibly Miami's best.
