160 Andalusia Ave. Miami, FL 33134 | Coral Gables/South Miami | 305-914-1300

Location Description:

Mixtura is the second outpost of restaurateurs Nestor Rojas and Miguel Hilck. It lies just off Miracle Mile, inside the space that used to La Cofradia, and pieces of that restaurant are still hanging around. Inside, Mixtura offers a broad sampling of Peruvian fare that includes everything from ceviches to Peruvian-Japanese sushi rolls to paiche, a Amazonian fish, and lomo saltado, the classic Peruvian grilled sirloin. Mixtura claims to offer Peruvian “fusion” cuisine, though its menu bears similarities to many more affordable Peruvian restaurants around Miami. We recommend you stick with the classics here, including ceviche, arroz con mariscos, and skewered proteins known as anticuchos in Peru.
