Lemon Fizz

16310 W. Dixie Hwy.
Miami, FL 33137

Website
Standard light bites, like Caprese or caesar salads, are available at this health-conscious café, as are substantial “rice delights” (brown rice with veggies, cheeses, and grilled chicken breasts sporting global sauces — teriyaki, barbecue, chipotle, etc.) and tasty smoothies. But the eatery’s raison d’être is saj, which is the name of both a delicate Middle Eastern flatbread and the traditional metal dome on which it is cooked fresh upon order here. The cordial Syrian owners also use the name to describe the stuffed wraps they make with the thin saj bread, whose 27 varieties of filling ranging from classic labneh (yogurt cheese) with olives to elaborate steak or chicken fajitas, plus cold creations like tuna salad with corn, tomatoes, mozzarella, and Dijon-dressed lettuce. There are also dessert saj wraps; the “strawberry fields” (fresh berries with Nutella) is especially recommended.
