Kon Chau

8376 Bird Road Miami, FL 33155 | Sweetwater/Westchester/West Miami | 305-553-7799

Location Description:

Located in a typical Westchester strip mall and sporting kitschy décor, Kon Chau ain't exactly chic. But the place is all about gastronomical indulgence. With adventurous menu offerings at a relatively cheap price, it's a good spot for taste buds unfamiliar with traditional Chinese dim sum. Start off with steamed shrimp dumplings and the delectable spring rolls. Then move on to more exotic fare such as the pork paste roll with oyster sauce. Although everyone can agree on desserts such as the egg tart and sweet cream buns, snobs might turn their noses up at the idea of strip-mall dining, but Kon Chau offers some of the most authentic Chinese eats in town.
