Fin - Closed

4029 N. Miami Ave. Miami, FL 33127 | Midtown/Wynwood/Design District | 305-227-2378

Location Description:

This cute, 28-seat, Nantucket-style seafood house keeps things simple by offering a concise menu of straightforwardly prepared fish. Best starter catches are a thin, spicy Manhattan clam chowder stocked with Florida's own Sebastian Inlet clams, and yellowtail ceviche with watermelon, chilies, rice vinegar, and citrus. The menu changes daily, but entrées generally include items such as subtly smoky local grouper on a bed of succotash, crisply seared wild striped bass from the Maryland coast over rice pilaf, and buttery pan-roasted halibut over preserved lemon risotto. Entrées range from $23 to $28, and portions are generous. Fin chef/owner Jonathan Eismann served the first flourless chocolate bomb dessert in South Florida at his original Pacific Time; it's still one of the best at Fin.
