Business Description

The opening of the Amphitheatre in 1996 marked the birth of a new era for South Florida music fans. Located on 13 acres at the South Florida Fairgrounds, this concert facility was the first venue of its kind in the State of Florida. The Amphitheatre has entertained over 4.6 million fans with 490 major concerts and festivals, and has hosted such superstar acts as Aerosmith, Jimmy Buffett, Kenny Chesney, Dave Matthews Band, Tim McGraw, Sting & Tina Turner. The venue also hosts South Florida Fair events as well as charity fundraisers and educational and religious events. The Amphitheatre has contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to South Florida nonprofit and community organizations.
