    Miami Beach, FL 33139
    305-538-8110
    http://abbeybrewingcompany.com
Small, dark, cozy, and relatively quiet. What is this joint doing in South Beach? A large selection of high-quality imported and homemade beer and an unpretentious vibe are standard here. If you need something to absorb all the alcohol you've consumed, food is served from open till close. The Abbey represents the type of bars Miami is lacking – low-key, modest, relaxed, holes in the wall.

This hip little number, tucked away on the 7th floor of the Four Seasons Hotel, is a chic hideout for young professionals. Cushioned chairs and couches neatly collected under umbrellas are scattered throughout the open patio. One side of the bar overlooks the pool while the opposite end is graced with a waterfall. This is the ideal place to wine and dine in sophistication. In other words, don't leave your credit card at home.
  • The Bar at Level 25
    1395 Brickell Ave
    Miami, FL 33131
    305-503-6547
This bar is on the 25th floor of a glass skyscraper. Look down at the twinkling lights of our city as you sip a Ciroc Vodka ($6). Smoking is allowed outside, on the balcony. Meet people from all over the world as you gawk at the breathtaking views.
  • The Bar
    172 Giralda Ave
    Coral Gables, FL 33134
    305-442-2730
    http://gablesthebar.com
There isn't a gimmick here; just wood-paneled booths, barstools, sports TV, weekend cover bands, and stiff, inexpensive drinks for those in search of a sanctuary. That's right, a Bar.
  • Barracuda Raw Bar and Grill
    3035 Fuller St
    Coconut Grove, FL 33133
    305-448-1144
    http://www.myspace.com/barracudabarandgrill
Local shrimpers have been coming to the Cuda for years. At night, this Coconut Grove mainstay gets packed with UM students playing beer pong. If you are in a beer-drinking mood, stop by. The place serves cans of Busch and Natural Ice, as well as Bass, Guinness, Blue Moon, and dozens of others on tap. The food is great, and many a fun game has been played on the pool table.
  • Bayside Hut
    3501 Rickenbacker Cswy
    Key Biscayne, FL 33149
    305-361-0808
Laid-back, tropical vibe is all you need here.
  • B.E.D.
    929 Washington Ave
    Miami Beach, FL 33139
    305-532-9070
    http://www.bedmiami.com
If you gotta stay fly until you die, this is the club. The acronym stands for "beverage, entertainment, and dining," but this is where the most beautiful women in the world party. Every night the paparazzi are taking photos of models and celebs. The VIP section is made up of king size beds. Grab that bottle of Patron and the woman that you've been dancing with, and get down between the silk sheets, homie.
  • Berries in the Grove
    2884 SW 27th Ave
    Coconut Grove, FL 33133
    305-448-2111
    http://berriesinthegrove.com
  • Big Fish
    55 SW Miami Ave
    Miami, FL 33130
    305-373-1770
    http://www.thebigfishmiami.com
The seafood restaurant's patio bar wraps around an enormous oak tree and sits right on the Miami River, below a drawbridge, with a clandestine view of downtown Miami's neon palette. Guest DJs play eclectic sets for eclectic crowds on weekends. Local boaters pull up to the restaurant's edge and watch as dancing ensues.
  • Bird Bowl
    9275 SW 40th St
    Miami, FL 33165
    305-221-1221
    http://www.birdbowl.com
Before cell phones and the Internet, there was Bird Bowl. This old-fashioned, Big Lebowski-style bowling alley has been open for 52 years. Besides the lanes, there's a billiard room with 18 newly re-covered tables, an arcade with tons of videogames, and a lounge area with nightly drink specials. Next to the lounge is Perky's Pizza, which serves piping-hot slices.
  • Boardwalk Tavern & Pizzeria
    3421 Main Hwy
    Coconut Grove, FL 33133
    305-567-0080
This bar is a hidden gem, and there are only two ways to get to it. Either enter Boardwalk Pizzeria and walk through the restaurant, past the dining tables, out the back door, and into the dark bar. Or pass the dumpsters in the parking lot, turn right, and voila. The outdoor tiki bar is secluded for a reason: This place is punk rock, and it gets rowdy as hell. Drunk women have been known to undress and dance on the bar, Donny "the homeless comedian" tells jokes while he rolls cigarettes, and the DJ spins old-school hip-hop. There are a couple of TV sets usually tuned to ESPN, and the drinks are inexpensive. Next time you are in the Grove, try to find the Boardwalk.
  • Bongos Cuban Cafe
    601 Biscayne Blvd
    Miami, FL 33132
    786-777-2100
    http://www.bongoscubancafe.com
This is as close as it gets to Havana's Tropicana, the swanky, pre-Castro supper club where "Babalu" was born. The salsa theme puts on the ritz accompanied by lots of Cuban food, lots of Cuban music, and lots of Cubans period.
  • Bougainvillea's Old Florida Tavern
    7221 SW 58th Ave
    South Miami, FL 33143
    305-669-8577
    http://bougiesbar.com
Every night feels like a house party at this bar that resembles a wooden cottage. The front porch is quiet enough for conversation and sipping Patrón on ice. Inside the dark bar, there are always live bands jamming while people dance and drink. The back patio features another bar and hookahs available for smoking. This place rules!

    19999 W Country Club Dr
    Aventura, FL 33180
    786-279-6600
