Walking into Cavalli Miami is like entering famed fashion designer Roberto Cavalli's Tuscan villa -- or a fashion shoot. Mismatched white and bright floral-clothed tables are adorned with glistening wine glasses and glamorous decorative plates from the designer's home collection. Plush seats are covered in his signature zebra and leopard prints. Dramatic framed photos of the designer, surrounded by models, hang on the walls. At this South Beach spot, it's all about attention to detail (even the hostesses look like they could have been plucked straight off the catwalk). Pretty solid authentic Italian cuisine tops it all off. Tuscany native and former Cavalli yacht chef Stefano Mazzi churns out a wide range of fare inspired by his homeland, such as Tuscan wild boar ravioli, house-made spaghetti, and lamb osso buco. The menu is good, but it'll cost you. One would be hard-pressed to walk out without spending more than 100 bucks a head. But it's kind of like sitting in on Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous-- you never know who'll turn up.
