Bissaleh Café

17608 Collins Ave
North Miami Beach, FL 33160
305-682-2224
This small, informal, kosher Israeli dairy restaurant/pizza place/juice bar/coffee bar is not your typical everyday sort of dining establishment. In many ways it's better. You can assemble a relatively familiar meal by choosing combo favorites like hummus and falafel, a Greek salad, cheese blintzes, grilled salmon fillet, or kosher pizza, but there are also malawachs and stuffed bissalehs to sample. We suggest the last, a buttery dough encircling moist feta and yellow cheese and a choice of spinach, potato, or mushrooms. Coffee and juice bars offer superior beverages, and if you've never finished off a meal with watermelon and feta cheese, you can do so here.
