1909 Cafe - Closed

5710 Bird Road Miami, FL 33155 | Sweetwater/Westchester/West Miami | 305-666-1909

Location Description:

Sandwiches are a culinary art form that don't get nearly enough attention. Much magic can happen between two slices of bread. Tucked away in a Bird Road strip mall, Café 1909 concocts creative combinations for meat eaters, vegetarians and everything in between. From the Italian Stallion ($7.25) to the French vegetarian ($6.50), this sandwich shop and American eatery's 42 sammy selections run the gamut. Salads like the chicken ceasar ($7.25) and insalata caprese ($7.50) are on tap too, plus soups and sweets like Misha's cupcakes ($2.50) and banana cake ($2.95). So skip the Subway, because a $6.50 BLT beats a $5 footlong any day.
