The Kampong

If you're into all things green, Coconut Grove's Kampong is the perfect place to revel in the majesty of Mother Nature. This historic garden boasts a whole host of flowering trees and tropical fruits, including candle fruit, peanut butter fruit, egg fruit, cocoplums, over 50 varieties of mango and numerous species of palms and cycads. The only location outside Hawaii included in the National Tropical Botanical Garden, this is a rare find indeed. Luckily, most Miamians don't even know it exists - so you can easily spend an idyllic afternoon there.
