Sancocho is an ideal hangover cure -- perfect for a heavy drinking town like Miami Beach. At Mi Colombia, the national hen soup is available only on Sundays -- a convenient date for those who had a rough Saturday night. Monday through Saturday, however, the place serves a wide selection of non-hair-of-the-dog Colombian delights. Pollo frito ($5.50),one of the least expensive on the menu, is crunchy on the outside, moist on the inside, covered in tangy tomato and onion sauce, and it comes with rice and beans. Giant meringue (suspiros) cookies dissolve as soon as they hit the tongue. With friendly service and a comfortable vibe, this place is a sure hit anytime.
