Main Street Playhouse

There's something utterly charming about community theater, and Miami Lakes' Main Street Playhouse has it in spades. This little troupe has been plugging away in various incarnations since 1974, staging more than 150 plays and musicals. While short on resources, they're tall on talent, and bring impressive presence to the performances they stage in their little black box. From the deeply intense Rabbit Hole to the musical romp The Marvelous Wonderettes, their choices cover the gamut, but whatever the subject matter, you can always expect to be entertained.
