Enthusiastic and positive people wanted to help promote the Poison Control Hotline at Health Fairs and community events. Includes showing kids, parents and grandparents displays and flyers on poisons in the home and yard, and teaching about the free 1-800-222-1222 telephone hotline for poison emegencies. Poison topics include household poisons. snakes and spiders, marine stings, and medication safety tips. Skills Must feel comfortable talking to people and offering information. Babysitting or childcare experience may be helpful when discussing child safety. Spanish or Haitian Creole speakers especially needed!
