Yin Yoga is a 60 minute class that focuses on holding poses for 2-5 minutes. Most of the postures will be floor positions held in a passive way. Each posture stretches the deeper layers of muscle fascia and connective tissue. The class builds mental discipline, promotes relaxation, and gives an over all feeling of lightness and ease through out the body.
A light folding blanket or towel is recommended for those with sensitive knees or hips.
