Don't you sometimes wish, after getting cut off on Biscayne Boulevard for the third time in ten minutes, that you didn't have to drive to get anywhere in Miami-Dade? That you could — dare to dream — even walk to places? Coral Gables hears you, which is why the city is hosting Park(ing) Day, which lets locals take over parking spots and turn them into public spaces for a day in order to raise awareness for sustainable civic practices. Get there early, because actual parking might be a bit hard to find. 7 a.m. to midnight Friday at locations throughout Coral Gables; Admission is free.
