Next Sunday October 23rd at 6 pm, the Adrienne Arsht Center – Knight Concert Hall, will raise the curtain for the Grand Season Opening, that will begin with the first compasses of the emblematic Maurice Ravel’s Bolero, his most famous musical piece. Then, the repertoire will also feature the Piano Concert of the extremely talented Florencia Di Concilio, Composer in Residence of the Miami Symphony Orchestra, that will present the World Premiere of a spellbinding tango, this magical evening will end with dazzling Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade, that was inspired by the collection of largely Middle Eastern and Indian tales known as The Thousand and One Nights (or The Arabian Nights).
