Join us in celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Wertheim Performing Arts Center with the return of our FIU Music Festival this season from October 5th until October 28th! For this performance, soprano Tony Arnold and pianist Jacob Greenberg will perform a number of cabaret and art songs of Arnold Shoenberg, Anton Webern, and Alban Berg, in addition to Helmut Lachenmann’s Got Lost. Since their award winning performances at the 2001 Gaudeamus International Interpreters Competition and the 2001 Louise D. McMahon Recital Competition, soprano Tony Arnold and pianist Jacob Greenberg have continued to collaborate on a variety of projects, including their work as members of the International Contemporary Ensemble. Guest soprano Tony Arnold will also perform the riveting Schoenberg String Quartet No. 2 with the Amernet String Quartet, recognized as “a group of exceptional technical ability” by the Washington Post.
