Miami's Moon River Cabaret has found the perfect home and perfect fit for its latest show. Burlesque, in its heyday circa 1950's/60's, once found a home all over Miami's Biscayne Blvd. But where does burlesque & cabaret find its home on the strip now? Either in venues built specifically for the art form OR anywhere else it fits and can reach new audiences. The Vagabond Hotel's Kitchen & Bar, with its perfect architecture, from its furniture to the decor, fits very much like it was built for their new “Mad Men” themed burlesque show. As of Thursday night, March 2nd, and every 1st Thursday of the month thereafter, Vagabond's restaurant will be transformed into a sexy time machine ready to whisk local & visiting audiences off into burlesque's heyday with “Burlesque Dinner Party at the Vagabond”.
This monthly event is sure to cater to foodies, lovers of live entertainment, and all who wish for all of their senses to be catered to. Moon River Cabaret's “Burlesque Dinner Party” begins at 8:00pm with the company's MC, Rio Dios Mio, singing and comically luring guests into the adventurous night ahead. The show consists of two acts with 3 burlesque ladies performing 2 sets each. The show itself is $10 added to the dinner and/or drink check. The Chef has created a special set dinner menu, served family style, over a 3 course meal that may be ordered at any time throughout the night for $55 (before tax). Alongside the entertainment, there will also be drink specials and interactive games for the audience to enjoy. The show in its entirety runs from 8pm to 11pm.
