Gramps

Gramps

In addition to the air conditioning, cold beer and cocktails as their entrance advertises, Wynwood's Gramps is home to lots more. Like rock acts on the regular, DJs spinning vinyl and plenty of dance space.
Story Nightclub

Story Nightclub

Where did the Heat team celebrate their 2013 championship -- and rack up a $100K tab? Meet Story. That parable should say it all about this 27,000 square foot SoBe dance club's prestige factor.
Tobacco Road

Tobacco Road

  • Jada Coles

    Jada Coles

2845 Coral Way Miami, FL 33145
    786-391-3701

http://www.jadacoles.com Located directly on Coral Way right off 22nd Avenue, Jada Coles blends just enough comfort to be deemed "laid back" with just enough quirkiness to be deemed charming. Couches are nooked towards the front of the space, while mix and minglers can sit at the high tops next to the pool table or float around the bar. Coles' small size makes for a friendly environment; it's the kind of place where the bartender chats you up about the Yankees/Red Sox rivalry and fellow drinkers introduce themselves without being creepy. The music jumps from Counting Crows to Fifty Cent. Read more about this Miami bar or club >>

  • Jazid

    Jazid

1342 Washington Ave. Miami Beach, FL 33139
    305-673-9372

http://www.jazid.net When we say "hole-in-the-wall," we mean it in a good way. This little bar has an upper and lower level, with different bands and DJs playing music until the sun comes up. It feels like a rehearsal studio for up-and-coming rock stars. But there are dance floors and fully stocked bars on both floors. Check out the huge statue of Buddha on the second floor. Rub his belly for good luck and realize that this place is poppin'. Read more about this Miami bar or club >>

  • Justin

    Justin's Bar and Lounge

17813 Biscayne Blvd. Aventura, FL 33160
    305-931-1900

http://www.justinsaventura.com Don't let the hardware store next door to Justin's throw you off. The same owners of Karma on South Beach run this place and do a fine job creating an elegant strip-mall hideaway. Though it looks like your rich, eccentric great-aunt decorated the place - questionable area rugs, intriguing art, and two billiard tables - the lounge attracts mostly locals from cities up and down U.S. 1 - North Miami Beach, Sunny Isles, Aventura, Hallandale Beach, and Hollywood. A unique concept and happy hour from 3 to 5 a.m. (in addition to a daily 5 to 9 p.m. happy hour) attract a younger, late-night crowd. Happy hour is free, but a $10 cover for women and $20 cover for men apply after midnight. Show up early for happy hour and stay late for round two. Read more about this Miami bar or club >>
