http://www.villapizza.com If you're looking for a hip spot to fetch some excellent pizza, Boardwalk Tavern & Pizzeria is your kind of place. This Coconut Grove tiki hut hideout has top-notch fare and service that is on point. From the moment you walk through the doors, you're greeted by the scent of fresh mozzarella. A patio and indoor seating area offer a choice of two different ambiances. And you haven't even been schooled on the pizza yet. At $17.95 for a large 22-inch pie, the restaurant provides a tasty and generous offering. The mozzarella sticks ($5.95) are some of the crispiest and cheesiest you'll ever taste. When it comes to chicken fingers, it is irritating when restaurants go overboard on batter. Boardwalk's nuggets don't fall into this category - the large portion features a well-balanced chicken-to-batter ratio. If calzones (small $8.99, large $13.99) are more your thing, the tavern has some pretty hefty ones, with a variety of toppings to choose from (ham, pepperoni, sausage, bell pepper, spinach, and onion). All in all, Boardwalk provides a casual and exciting dining atmosphere with great food to match. Take note, though, the place can get rowdy late at night. Read more about this Miami bar or club >>
http://www.bokampers.com Dolphins vet (and Plantation resident) Kim "Kimbo" Bokamper started this neighborhood hang to indulge his sports fetish, and it shows. Fifty plasma TVs enough for ya? If you know what most places with that sort of cathodic bling are like in terms of atmosphere, you probably have a good idea what to expect from the food. A few entrees, like the blackened swordfish sandwich and Bo's burger (with a fried egg poised atop) stand out on the menu, but beers, wings, and football: That trusty trifecta is always going strong at Bokamper's. http://www.arshtcenter.org/bombaysapphirelounge/index.aspx The Adrienne Arsht Center and Bacardi USA have teamed to bring the Bombay Sapphire Lounge to the ground floor of the iconic Carnival Tower. The lounge is decorated in blue, and the Bombay brand name is everywhere, flashing on TV screens, painted on murals, and placed all over the bar. The space features an outdoor seating area in the courtyard of the Ziff Ballet Opera House, located on the west side of Biscayne Boulevard. There's also a full bar, so if gin isn't your game, Bombay won't hold it against you. Read more about this Miami bar or club >>
http://www.bongoscubancafe.com This is as close as it gets to Havana's Tropicana, the swanky, pre-Castro supper club where "Babalu" was born. The salsa theme puts on the ritz accompanied by lots of Cuban food, lots of Cuban music, and lots of Cubans period. Read more about this Miami bar or club >>

Firemen, police officers, and ladies get in free, and the club has theme parties on the first Wednesday of every month. Read more about this Miami bar or club >>
http://boondocks.us.com This awesome Keys landmark opened way back in the early 90s as a tiny ice cream shack in the middle of the wilderness. Today, the property encompasses a miniature golf course, an eatery, a bar, and a live music venue. There are daily happy hours, trivia nights, and regular bookings of Elton John and Rod Stewart tribute bands. The prime location on mile marker 27 1/2 on Ramrod island in the Lower Keys makes it the perfect place to stop for some putt putt, a few beers, and a fish sandwich on the way to Key West. http://www.brickellirishpub.com Brickell Irish Pub is rather like a very dark sports bar: lots of plasma TV sets, rock music, and so forth. If that's not your cup of brew, there's a brighter, quieter outdoor dining patio. Either way, you can choose from dozens of bottled beers at $4.50 to $5.50 and ten drafts at $6.25 per pour. The menu proffers about a half-dozen each of pub snacks, starters, salads, sandwiches, burgers, dinner entrées, and sides. What differentiates a "pub snack" from a "starter" is vague; the first category includes fish dip, Buffalo shrimp, mozzarella sticks, and potato skins; the latter brings, among other things, chicken wings, chicken tenders, and beef sliders. We advise to avoid the fish dip. Begin instead with char-grilled sliders or a pan-seared Irish fish cake flaky with smoked salmon and cod. Fish 'n' chips, shepherd's pie, and Irish stew were solid if not sensational. The only problem with a dessert called "McKrispy's bread pudding" is that it wasn't crisp enough. Service is amateurish, but prices are forgiving: All pub snacks and starters are under $10, all main courses less than $20. Read more about this Miami bar or club >>

Miami Beach has been waiting for this beautiful dive to re-open ever since it left its former home above a Chinese restaurant. Now that Buck is finally here again, fans can get back to the affordable drinks, lack of cover charge, and crash pad decor that made it a favorite in the first place. Most tourists won't know to find this joint's entrance in an alley behind Lincoln Road, insuring a very friendly local vibe. Read more about this Miami bar or club >>
http://www.burgernbeerjoint.com This South Beach hangout has more attitude than a Hell's Angel. OK, perhaps that's pushing it a little, but it's a sports bar, lounge, and restaurant that is definitely more than just a tatted-up Mickey D's. (This should come as no surprise, because it is the creation of Automatic Slims' conceptual owner and a former GM from SushiSamba.) An upstairs lounge, open 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays and now Mondays for poker, is a great getaway for locals who love to rock, especially when bands perform. It boasts eight TV sets, green chalkboard walls, an oval bar, and a purple-cloth pool table. B&B's sports bar is where you can also find folks drinkin' and smokin' from happy hour on. With 99 types of beer, an incredible wine list, a full bar, and a cocktail menu with selections named "Harry Palmer," "Lowrider," and "Daisy Duke," you can bet patrons stay until the wee hours. But the focal point is the restaurant, where carnivores can customize a burger with a choice of a half- or full pound of free-range beef, Kobe, or turkey; four buns; eight types of cheese; grilled toppings; a selection of unique sauces (we're partial to the Atomic horseradish, tarragon rémoulade, and chipotle ketchup); raw veggies; and "Pure Platinum" toppings such as foie gras ($13) and truffle demi ($8). The least expensive cheeseburger runs about $10.75, but the "Stairway to Heaven," with Kobe, foie, and the demi, rings in at a whopping $39. Whatever you partake of, throw the thoughts of keeping kosher out the window and pair your beef with a deep-fried Twinkie and an adult milkshake (we love the "O Face" and "Money Shot"), made with Edy's ice cream right from the case. Even the kiddies will get a kick out of this joint, especially because they get their own menu and crayons with which to deface the tabletops. Hell, if you're feeling rebellious, pick up a Crayola too. Read more about this Miami bar or club >>
