Today is Black Friday, but why not take a break from the malls and the shopping and enjoy yourself? Have a cold beer, take in dinner and a show, or enjoy Miami's most beautiful tree being lit.

Weekend starts now!

Holiday Tree Lighting at Bayfront Park and Holiday Market at La Feria del Mercado de San Miguel
Sure, Christmas is a month away, but the holiday spirit begins tonight, Friday, November 27, at Bayfront Park Amphitheater. The tree-lighting ceremony begins at 7 p.m.; then the festivities continue at Le Feria del Mercado de San Miguel, which turns into a Christmas Village. Twenty vendors will sell everything from chocolate to coffee, making this the perfect place to nosh while you check off that holiday gift list. The market is open daily now through January 6 from noon to 9 p.m. (closed Christmas Day and New Year's Day).

Concrete Beach Brewery Has Great Cans
Concrete Beach Brewery has just introduced a new canning line at its Wynwood brewery, making it the first canning line in a craft brewery in the City of Miami. The brewery is canning its Walls South American red ale, brewed with Chilean Patagonia malt, which provides light toffee and caramel notes, balanced by a light, citrusy hop aroma and delicate bitterness. The beer is available in four-packs. To commemorate the release, Concrete Beach's Social Hall is celebrating Small Business Saturday on November 28 with growler and pint specials — get one 64-ounce growler and two Concrete Beach pint glasses for $30 — which also makes a great gift four local beer lovers. That same day, the brewery will celebrate the special release of its Kumquat Berliner with live music from 8 to 9 p.m.
