You didn’t forget that Marlins opening day is this Monday, did you? This season, it seems like the team might actually have a chance to stand up in the National League again after some major investment was put into the team. But if you don't care about bats and balls but go anyway for the food and camaraderie, there's just the party for you.

To celebrate both opening day and its first anniversary, cigar shop 100 Fires, located at 1510 NW 4th St., will throw a street party prior to the first pitch. Open to the public, the bash kicks off at 12:30 p.m. and runs until 4 p.m.

Various vendors will hand out free samples, including cigars from My Father Cigars, sparkling wine from Papi Rosato Moscato, and Tiburon rum. There will even be a 3:05 coffee break provided by Nespresso in case you imbibe too much of the free booze.

Food truck Crazydilla will sell its Cubadillas and other popular menu items, while Coral Gables' Vicky Bakery will give away samples of its pastries.

Inside the park, Jon Secada will sing the National Anthem to inaugurate the 2015 season. Guests at the ballpark will receive a magnetic calendar of this season's games. Even if you're just going for the free booze and cigars, Marlins Park will be the place to be this Monday, April 6.
