The War on Drugs is not over.
Founded by celebrated rock songwriter Kurt Vile and moody indie mastermind Adam Granduciel, this post-punk outfit released its debut album, Wagonwheel Blues, in 2008. A short time later, though, Vile split to pursue a solo career.
But despite his departure, Granduciel just said no to quitting the band. He went forth, recruited new allies, and recorded another two albums, including 2014's Lost in a Dream, which copped lots of end-of-year accolades from Pitchfork and the like.
Now the War on Drugs is coming to the Fillmore Miami Beach. And you can join up for free.
Just check the cut for contest instructions.
